Join the South King Indivisible Alliance for a Protest Vigil. Our members, friends, and families will join in one community representing Covington, Kent, Maple Valley, and Auburn. Wear black, wear a costume, or wear a raincoat. Carry a candle, a flashlight, or a sign. Peacefully join together to express your grief and your outrage. Show our care and concern for our community. Be present and stand in solidarity.
Background: Wednesday, January 7th, an American citizen was killed by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This killing is part of a broader pattern of unchecked violence, impunity, and abuse carried out by federal immigration enforcement agencies against members of our communities.
